For as long as I have loved reading, I have loved writing, and it is a deep love of mythical worlds and complex characters that has brought about the creation of, Crown of Lies, the working title for the first book in a planned series of dark fantasy.

Here's a (very) short synopsis:

A woman born into a lie. A throne claimed by force. A marriage sealed in blood. And a power forbidden for reasons she is only beginning to understand.

Between the life she was given and the truth that will detonate everything she knows, she must choose, and there is no version of that choice that does not cost her everything.

Crown of Lies is the first book of the Eldryth Trilogy. A story of stolen thrones, blood-bound marriages, forbidden power, and a woman who refuses to be what the world decided she should be. Every scar is earned. Every choice matters. And the truth, when it finally arrives, is worse and better than anything she imagined.

It's Done. Now What?

There's a particular kind of quiet that lands at the completion of something. In my case, a novel. Not the triumphant, champagne-cork style celebration I imagined during all those months of writing. Something far different than that.
